Requirements for Live in Partner COmmon Law Partner to Canada
When you want to bring your spouse but you are not yet married, Canada will allow him/her to be with you while you are on study permit, as long as you are living together as husband and wife. Canada call this as Common Law Partner. Immigration Canada will give your partner an OPEN Work Permit for him to work in Canada while you are studying.
Here are the requirements.
ID with the same home address
Joint bank account certificate at least 300k pesos
Birth certificate of Child/ren
Affidavit notary public - Cohabitation/ live in together
Certificate from barangay that you have are living together
